Movement ecology

The field of movement ecology is still fairly new and I am excited about building expertise in this area over the next few years as part of a $1.3 M NASA project for which I serve as a Co-PI with co investigators from Columbia University, Ohio State University, University of Montana, University of Idaho, and Washington State University and collaborators from a wide range of federal management agencies. The overarching goal of this project is to understand how highly mobile terrestrial fauna navigate and select habitat in the rapidly changing boreal and arctic regions.
